Guide to using
chi-creates.tv media

This site requires the following browser plug-ins:

• Quicktime
This is a multimedia technology developed by our friends at Apple Computer. It is a popular format for creating and storing sound, graphics, and movie (.mov) files. Though it is an Apple technology, QuickTime software is available for both the Mac and the PC. If you don't have QuickTime on your computer, or if you want to see if you have the latest version, check out Apple's QuickTime site.

• Flash
Flash is the world’s most pervasive software platform, used by over one million professionals and reaching more than 97% of Internet-enabled desktops worldwide, as well as a wide range of devices.

• RealVideo
A streaming technology developed by RealNetworks for transmitting live video over the Internet. RealVideo uses a variety of data compression techniques and works with both normal IP connections as well as IP Multicast connection.

Windows Media
Windows Media Video (WMV) is a generic name for the set of streaming video technologies developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Windows Media framework.

WMV is not built solely on Microsoft in-house technology. From version 7 (WMV7), Microsoft has used its own non-standard version of MPEG-4. The video stream is often combined with an audio stream of Windows Media Audio.

WMV files are customarily played by Windows Media Player on Microsoft Windows and Macintosh systems. Some third-party players also exist, such as MPlayer for Linux, which play back WMV by using the FFmpeg implementation of the WMV codecs.
